What kind of warranty do you offer?

Post Close Service and Warranty Coverage –  Gibson Home comes with a one year fit and finish warranty, a two year mechanical warranty and a ten year major structural warranty. We also take it one step further and give in detailed writing our warranty at the finalization of the construction of your new home which is recorded with the county for permit and record of warranty.

How can I ensure that this home will be built completely code-compliant?

Our home designs are engineered by licensed Oregon/Washington architects and engineers. These teams of professionals meet all of Washington and Oregon’s building code requirements.

At Gibson Homes our home plans are approved by county in which they are to be built, they are also governed and inspected by county inspectors throughout the multiple phases of the building process.

What types of interior finishes and upgrades could you provide, and do you offer the services of a professional interior designer to implement my visions?

Before construction begins, we will guide you through the customization process. This experience allows you to view a wide selection of colors and styles in flooring, cabinetry, hardware, and more – and glean ideas from of industry professionals that specialize in knowing cutting edge technology, design trends, diverse color palettes and how they all work together to become the residence you will soon be calling home. When and how often will you check in on my home?

Our homes perform well above the building code standard as a result of our focus on quality. Each individual home is run like a small business; we oversee all aspects of the building process – from sales to construction to customer satisfaction. So your home’s construction is constantly monitored for quality with a critical and knowledgeable eye for every detail at every level.

What is the average length of time both the sales and construction personnel remain with you?

We have been working with the same trade vendors for a range of 10-15 years. I personally feel that this is a key element to building a quality, structurally sound home. Gibson Homes is honored to be partnered with the best industry trade vendors the Northwest has to offer.

What is the customer service policy after I move in?

At the time of closing we will do a thorough walk through with new home owner to make sure they understand how their new home operates and functions.We  want to be available to answer and address any concerns or questions you may have.
